Moose antler piping on a new Weil McLain CGi.
This one came out great and the homeowner is toasty warm now.
The water table in this basement is extremely high and it floods regularly. It relies on two sump pumps to keep it dry.
With one pump not working and rain on the way, we installed a Liberty 257 pump with their VMF switch to compliment its twin we installed last year.
The discharge line was old and leaking, so we also cleaned it up, added a cleanout and two new check valves.
In addition to all of that, we added Liberty’s high level alarm system with battery backup. This notifies the occupants, in case the power goes out or a pump fails.
This well system feeds full port outdoor hydrants for washing farm equipment and race cars, two apartments and an equestrian tack room.
Future piping for a water softener, a sediment filter with Webstone union isolators for easy servicing and removal, and shut-offs for each feed.
For more complex jobs, like this one, we draw up schematics after looking at the job/work area. This helps us to order the correct materials and plan the layout ahead of time, so there’s less stress on the job and less time spent doing it.
